The front desk staff seemed tepid. The bell hop/valet staff was amazing & very friendly. The restaurant staff for bar menu were more helpful & attentive than the breakfast staff who didn't quite understand my order & once we received our food never checked on us again even though it was not busy and there were at least two servers working 4 tables. There was no butter on my toast & no butter or jam offered. The coffee/fruit was very good, but the eggs had no salt & I wasn't able to get any out of the shaker on the table.

The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in at a hotel. The Grange restaurant/bar staff were beyond amazing, very social and engaging, responsive and accommodating to our special diet needs and questions about the food and Sacramento area in general. The valet team was also quick, responsive and easily accessible by text when we needed our car. Noted: Exceptionally clean and quiet. A beautiful hotel within walking distance to the state capitol.

The room was large, clean and comfortable with a lovely big bathroom. Shower was wonderful - hot, hot water with lots of pressure. The gym was quite large and well kitted out. Also, the location was brilliant within an easy walk of the Old Town and Downtown Sacramento.

We had an amazing experience booking here for a girls' night. They allowed us to check in significantly early, and our room was incredible. The decor and historic touches in the hotel rooms were delightful. Next door, the bar had a great brunch and happy hour menu with wonderful friendly staff. We will certainly be back!

We arrived very early in the morning after a long, tiring train ride. The front desk staff were very solicitous and got us into a room earlier than normal check-in. Hotel's location is convenient to museums, the Capitol building, Old Sacramento, and various means of public transportation.
